an alternative to functional film.

However, the functional properties of the blind need to be taken into consideration together with their visual impact.

In textiles, the structure of the weave is a deciding factor when it comes to heat and glare protection:

Open, coarse weaves are excellent when it comes to visibility. However, they let a great deal of light through and barely reflect
any radiation, which means high levels of glare and heat
penetration. Metallised fabrics, on the other hand, are efficient in reflecting radiation but do not offer visibility to the outside.

All blind fabrics offered by MULTIFILM comply with fire protection classification B1.
